MacOS Sonoma - Advisory from Corporate IT

  Hello Radicals Apple has just released a new operating system MacOS Sonoma. For testing purposes, the Corporate IT team has downloaded the new OS and checking it on a few MacBooks in the IT Team. I have upgraded my MacBook to Sonoma. Many users would have received a notification to update their laptops in System Settings. We are reading many issues reported by users on various forums on the internet and I can confirm from my personal experience some of those, and the Corporate IT team also confirms similar issues faced on the testing laptops. We urge users not to update their operating system to Sonoma. Here are some of the issues we have faced and some that have been reported by netizens. Important Announce- Rollback of Work from Home Furniture Policy in India and Dubai

  Hi All, This is an update  regarding our  Work from Home (WFH) Productivity Support policy  in India and Dubai. After careful consideration of the post-COVID situation, the company has decided to roll back the WFH  Productivity Support  provision effective August 1, 2023. The policy was introduced during the challenging times of the pandemic to support our employees in India and Dubai as they transitioned to remote work. The policy served its purpose remarkably well, allowing us to maintain continuity in our operations despite the unprecedented circumstances. However, we are now in a different phase, where both our offices in India and Dubai are fully operational and compliant with safety protocols. Further, more in-person interactions are preferred for enhanced teamwork, creativity, and communication, leading to improved overall productivity. Our performance review philosophy is a set of beliefs and principles that guide our approach to evaluating and improving employee performance. We believe that performance reviews are a critical tool for developing our employees, recognizing their contributions, and aligning their goals with the goals of Radix. Appraisals 2023 : Update and Timelines

  We’re pleased to announce the commencement of the Annual Compensation Review exercise in Radix. Through this annual exercise, we strive to ensure competitiveness in our compensation and demonstrate our philosophy of rewarding high performance. Below are some key timelines for this exercise.  Performance Ratings for Perf Year 2022-23 Closed Window for Manager inputs on comp increases June 5 - June 16 Employee Communication (verbal) July 18 - July 19 Payouts July 31 Employee Communication (letters) August 2 Over the coming weeks, we will be engaging with all managers for the relevant actions required from them. Managers are also expected to ensure availability for completion of inputs from their side in the week of June 5 to 16.
